Orange County Senior Portrait Photographer • Mark Jordan

professional
Norway and Germany have also recognized Mark’s contribution to the photographic arts, as has such respected establishments as EPCOT (three time honoree in the exhibit of “The World’s Greatest Photographers”), Kodak, Fuji, and Winona International School of Photography. Regardless of the enumerable awards Mark Jordan has garnered, none of his accomplishments would matter were it not for the simple fact that every single award has come entirely from the portraits commissioned by Mark’s clients. While it is standard practice for photographers to devise special images solely for the critical eye of national judges, Mark owes his success wholly to the portrait creations crafted from his everyday commissions. As Mark tells us, “My success began with simple portrait inquiries and continues today because of those who favor me with their trust.”
COMMERCIAL
In addition to family portraiture, Mark Jordan also creates images for businesses. A few notable companies that have engaged Mark’s services are Tiffany & Co., Virgin, Oakley, Bijan, Crevier Mini Cooper, Toyota, California Angels, Boston Red Sox, Marriott Hotels, ClubCorp, AVCO Financial, Viacom, Pacific Mutual, Blockbuster, Watson Pharmaceuticals, Bourns International, Gensler & Associates, Orange County Performing Arts Center, and the Actors and Productions of Tony Award winning South Coast Repertory Theater.

FAMILY
Mark is married to a vivacious, effervescent woman whom he met in 1985 while teaching 4th Grade for Irvine Unified. Kari was assigned to Mark’s classroom as his student teacher (it’s not a saucy as it appears). They were married in 1989, and along the way, they managed to create three very independent children (now teenagers). Kari, as you may have noticed from any correspondence you have received, is not only Mark’s wife, but the Studio Manager. She also serves as their “master puppeteer,” and is Mark’s right hand woman at family and children portraits. When they’re not creating portraits they can be found around town at any number of local eateries (preferably La Fiesta), at the movies, Yogurtland, and Saddleback Church.
